« I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good. Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms. « We were attending a graduation in Steubenville, and picked this hotel because closer hotels were all booked. Additionally, hotels in Steubenville itself are terrible. I was more than pleased with my stay here, and it was well worth the extra travel time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds and room were clean and comfortable. « The hotel was clean in and out, and the area is clean and safe. Came here for a tournament, which they seem to host a lot of families for these tournaments as well as traveling lineman, oil, and construction workers. Inwas surprised how clean the rooms were with the full kitchen. No complaints. Outside looked like a 3 star hotel and the rooms has great mattresses. I out a 3 for amenities, but i dont know if they have any, but to for an overnight stay, it was great. »
